Leaders With Superpowers: Coaching And Communication Skills

At Empower World, we love to acknowledge and champion our coaches. Empower World alumna Aleksandra Lazarevska (who completed our coach training in 2022) is a leader who coaches and supports leaders to become even more effective using the skills of coaching.

Aleksandra is also proactive in her writing to support leaders, which we’ve enjoyed reading, and wanted to share her recent article highlighting how leaders can support and inspire their teams with the skills of communication - which is what coaching skills are based upon.

The Power of Coaching: Cultivating Belonging in the Workplace

In today’s corporate and business work environment, fostering a sense of belonging among employees has become paramount for organisational engagement and success. Creating a culture of belonging not only nurtures individual growth but also enhances team cohesion and a shared sense of purpose. Below are some ideas about how to create a sense of belonging utilising the power of coaching skills in your organisation.

The Essence of a Belonging Culture Using Coaching Skills

A strong sense of organisational belonging fostered by a coaching culture is characterised by ongoing, structured, and informal interactions where employees at all levels are encouraged to learn, grow and build relationships in support of individuals, teams and the organisation. In such an environment, leaders and managers act as coaches, or leaders who coach, who provide partnership, feedback and support to their teams to ensure they thrive. This culture promotes open communication, mutual respect and continuous improvement.

Navigating the Path to Executive Coaching: Expectations and Processes

In today's dynamic and often complex corporate landscape, the demand for executive coaching has surged as organisations recognise the value of investing in their leaders' development. Executive coaching isn't just a buzzword anymore; it's a strategic imperative for companies aiming to thrive in a competitive environment. But what exactly does it entail, and how does an individual embark on the journey to becoming an executive coach?

Below are seven key points for organisations and potential coaches to consider in relation to professional executive coaching.

7 Ways to Build Stronger Connections in Relationships by Utilising Coaching Skills

In a world where we might find ourselves in virtual meetings, on digital apps, chatting virtually and potentially being distracted by digital communication, like Social Media, we may start to long for a deeper connection with others.

Nurturing meaningful relationships has become more vital than ever in a challenging and changing world.  In both personal and professional settings, the ability to be in good relationships with others is a cornerstone of living a fulfilling life, given that we a 'wired' to be connected with others.

As professional coaches, we have found that using the skills we learn as coaches can be a powerful approach to enhancing many of the relationships in our lives. Below are some practices to support relationships and foster stronger connections with others.

Embracing Coaching Skills: A Process to Support Mental Wellness

Amid life's challenges and uncertainties, mental wellness is a state of being many of us choose to embark on. Life is marked with ups and downs, triumphs and setbacks, and as we navigate this, it can provide a fertile ground for self-discovery, resilience building and growth.

If you are contemplating the journey, midway through it or coming towards the end of a phase or stage in life and discovering or seeking a new path, exploring the transformative power of coaching skills can support you on that journey of change. For us at Empower World, it has been a guiding light that has illuminated our personal and professional transformation - being asked powerful, life-changing questions supporting deep reflection and awareness leading to the opening up of new empowering possibilities even in the face of challenges and difficult times.

Navigating the Future of Coaching in an AI World

In these rapidly developing times where artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming industries at a fast pace, the coaching profession is also experiencing change. The incorporation of AI technologies into coaching practices has the potential to alter the way coaches engage with clients, offering opportunities for greater efficiency, as well as professional and business growth.

These developments also raise concerns among coaches about the possibility of their roles becoming redundant, and the excitement of developing skills to an even more artful, masterful and skilful level to meet the needs of a much more complex world.

The Power of a Coaching Approach to Leadership

In this dynamic, rapidly changing, disruptive landscape within organisations, the role of a manager and leader - who adopts a coaching approach has become increasingly crucial.

Daniel Goleman - a leading researcher in relation to leadership and emotional intelligence - shares that the resonant style of leadership, adopted by effective leaders, is key to supporting and empowering their teams.

“If your emotional abilities aren’t in hand, if you don’t have self-awareness, if you are not able to manage your distressing emotions, if you can’t have empathy and have effective relationships, then no matter how smart you are, you are not going to get very far.” Daniel Goleman

Overcoming Excuses: Embracing Growth and Fulfilment Beyond Our Comfort Zone

In our journey through life, we will encounter opportunities that can lead us to new incredible experiences, great personal growth and achievement of our deepest desires. These opportunities often require us to step out of our comfort zones of what we know and regularly experience, challenging us to confront our fears and uncertainties and face the unknown. It is at this point - on the cusp of change - that we may find ourselves making excuses to avoid committing to these new opportunities, despite knowing deep down and intuitively what we truly want to achieve and experience in our lives is beyond our comfort zone.

The Power of Love: Supporting Our Loved Ones, Coaching Clients, and Ourselves

With Valentine's Day this week, the world has been filled with expressions of love and affection. While this day is often associated with a romantic nature, it can also be a reminder of the significant impact love can have on all aspects of our lives, including our professional and personal relationships, as well as the one with ourselves.

Love is a fundamental human need and when we feel loved and supported - including when we love ourself - we are better equipped to navigate life's challenges and achieve our goals and aspirations. This is especially true in the context of coaching, where the relationship between coach and client is built on trust, empathy, and understanding.

11 Powerful Reasons to Invest in Coach Training for Yourself

There are many compelling reasons why we at Empower World believe everyone should invest in the skills of leadership, communication, and relationship building with the intention of supporting and empowering yourself and others.

Coaching skills development can enhance and improve the quality of our lives by opening up our hearts and minds to notice new perspectives in a way that supports our experiences and connections and it offers a way to build personal resilience and strength even in the most challenging of situations.

How The Skills of Coaching Can Powerfully Impact Your Life

Are you curious about the profession of coaching and its potential impact on your life or the lives of others? Whether that be from the perspective of experiencing coaching with a credentialed coach or learning the skills of coaching and leadership.

Coaching is a growing profession and people and organisations are becoming much more aware of the importance of investing in themselves and partnering with a professionally trained coach, particularly in light of the challenges many are experiencing across the globe.

The Transformative Power of Learning the Skills of Professional Coaching

When we chose to learn the skills of professional coach training, we didn't realise how incredibly life-changing and powerful the experience would be for ourselves and the people we support: whether that be in our professional or personal lives.

Learning the art and science of coaching was an unforgettable and transformative experience that changed the way we navigated our world in all of our areas of life. It provided so much joy, freedom, inspiration and creativity beyond what we had ever imagined.

The Surprising, Life-Changing Lessons from Joining Professional Coach Training

Michelle Travers, an Empower World coach training alumna joined us recently as a guest on the Empower World Coaching and Leadership Podcast. In the recording of the podcast, Michelle shares what she describes as a life-changing learning experience after her coach training in 2021.

When asked about what she experienced in the online Empower World ICF Approved Professional Coach Training and Leadership Programme, Michelle shared her “mind was blown away.”

“It was just a wonderful opportunity. And it's really been the catalyst, I guess, for propelling me into the next stage of my life,” explains Michelle.

Do you have a gift for supporting people to overcome challenges in their lives, grow, and become the best versions of themselves? Have you been wondering how you could move this passion from just a thought into becoming a fulfilling career?

At Empower World, we believe that the heart of coaching lies in empowering others to unlock their full potential and lead lives aligned with their values, aspirations, and personal passions – what matters most to them. Creating Healthy Boundaries

As our lives are constantly filled with distractions, time remains a precious commodity and personal boundaries become an essential necessity for the sake of our well-being, mental health and personal value.

Why Is Setting Boundaries So Important?
Imagine having a transparent shield that protects your time, energy, and mental health - that’s exactly what setting boundaries do, they act like your own unique internal compass that continually guides you towards a more balanced and fulfilling life.

5 Strategies to Manage Emotions and Build Resilience in Times of High Stress

All around the world, we are being impacted by situations that are out of the direct control of many people: wars, the escalating cost of living, housing shortages, climate change, discrimination and so much more.

It’s increasingly difficult to avoid the constant reminder of highly stressful situations around the world and in our own ‘backyard.’ It can sometimes feel like the ground beneath us is constantly shifting.

Choosing a Coaching Supervisor to Support Your Personal Development

Seeking coaching supervision (or 'super-vision') is an important step in your professional development as a coach. And finding a supervisor that is suitable for you is also an important part of the process.

A Coaching supervisor partners with the coach (also known as the supervisee) to support them with their practice and who they are being as a coach by deep listening, asking questions and reflecting back what they are noticing in the system the coach is operating within - intuitively, emotionally, factually, somatically, metaphorically and more.

The Transformative Power of Deep, Embodied Presence in Coaching (and in our everyday life)

Coaching is a transformative and dynamic process that is actually felt and experienced in ways that are unique for everyone who understands there has been a profound shift in their life. Coaching empowers individuals to unlock their inner truth and highest potential, and the foundation of the coaching process is the power of presence.
Deep presence is the ability of a coach to be engaged and attuned with themselves and their client paying attention to words, energy, the soma, all of the senses, intuition, breathing, sounds (inside and outside), and the heart and gut 'brains'.

Bringing Planet Earth Into Your Coaching Conversations

You might be a coach or a leader who cares deeply about the planet and its future, and you may be wondering how you can support adaptation and building resilience in the face of climate change.

Incorporating the Earth into your coaching conversations as a stakeholder or partner when it's appropriate, can be a powerful way to bring about a sense of environmental consciousness and responsibility for the individuals, organisations, and perhaps the environment you partner with.

The Power of 'Holding Space' For Our Client... And How

In coaching, the term "holding space" refers to the creation of a supportive and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

This powerful space involves being fully present, attentive, and empathetic, allowing clients to express themselves openly and honestly, trusting they are with someone who provides them with an opportunity to be authentic, vulnerable and brave to share things that perhaps they have never explored or expressed before.

4 Reasons Why Emotional Intelligence is Essential for Every Leader - And How to Develop it

Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognise, understand and/or manage your own emotions, as well as perceive and respond effectively to other people’s emotions.

This involves a variety of skills as well as the capacity to be curious and create awareness about self and others, be able to empathise with others, participate effectively in social interactions, and make decisions which are good for yourself and the wider system you are part of and maintain healthy relationships.

The Power of Setting Boundaries: The Secret to a Happier, Healthier You

Sometimes when we think of the word ‘boundaries’ it can conjure up thoughts and images of restrictions, divides, confines, and limits. We have discovered that the opposite is true; creating boundaries can set us free.

As we become clear about what we do and don't want, what we will and won't accept - and share this with others so everyone has clarity - it can enable deeper mutual understanding and respect. And with that - comes the freedom to live a purposeful, joyful, and meaningful life. Without boundaries, we can fall into habits and ways of being that can be energy-draining and exhausting.

Are You Thinking About Becoming a Professional Coach? 8 questions to ask yourself to determine it’s for you

If you are considering transitioning into the transformational and inspiring world of professional coaching to support yourself and others to achieve dreams, goals and aspirations, there are some important questions to consider to ensure you set yourself up for success and fulfilment. These include:

1. What qualifications and training do I need to ensure I attract clients?

Coaching is a profession that requires the learning of new ways to support people to unlock their potential and ignite their brilliance. Coaching is not mentoring, advising or consulting, which relies upon the professional to provide the answers: their expertise. Coaching supports clients to find their own answers - to tap into their own wisdom - and the process of coaching requires a very different skill set from giving advice.

How Do Successful Coaches Create A Thriving Practice?

Attracting clients to your coaching practice requires a considered approach that combines various communication, marketing, networking and ways of being to create a thriving practice.

At Empower World, we believe the foundation of any process we use to attract clients is by being aware of who we truly are. This encompasses our purpose, top values, passions and empowering beliefs - and with this understanding, we can be authentic and come from our heart and a place that feels confident.

Professional Coaching Success Built on Foundation of Strong Ethics

Professional coaching supports the transformation of lives. And professional coaching is upheld and based upon a solid foundation of ethical standards which provides the creation of a place of non-judgement, deep trust, confidentiality and connection.

This foundation built on ethics supports creating a psychologically safe place to have courageous, honest, transparent and vulnerable conversations to support the conditions for powerful change: mind, emotions, behaviours and experiences.

Coaching Clients, Supporting People Experiencing Loss

Grief is a natural process everyone will experience in their own unique way when we lose someone or something that is near and dear to our hearts and/or tremendously important to us.

A loss could be a loved one, a job, a relationship, a community... a country. And the emotional response and the ways of dealing with loss can be so varied and dramatically different from person to person. There’s no ‘right way’ to experience it.

Gratitude and Ramadan

As Founders of Empower World in the Middle East - more specifically Doha, Qatar - we've become very aware of the holy month of Ramadan, observed by millions of Muslims around the world.

We understand this is a very special time of fasting, prayer, and reflection, and sometimes travel for to holy places of worship, during which Muslims practice deepening their faith and becoming even more aware about themselves and others.

What Has Vulnerability And Collaboration Got To Do With Climate Change?

Climate change is one of the most pressing issues facing humanity today. It's clear we need to take immediate and effective action to support all living systems.

There are many strategies which can be employed to slow down climate change, and two of the most powerful ways forward - noted by many involved in this type of work - is collaboration and vulnerability.

The Power Of Being Coach Mentored

We are very proud of our 9 coaches who joined us for the Empower World Group Coach Mentoring programme this weekend: investing in themselves and their skills of coaching in support of becoming a credentialed coach.

The importance of being mentored as a coach and in any profession is enormous as it supports the identification of our strengths (which are perhaps hidden from ourselves) and the opportunities to develop our skills, knowledge and competencies - particularly in relation to the core competencies of coaching if you are a coach - no matter whether you are new to the profession or much more experienced.

Seven Ways To Foster A Core Human Need: Belonging

We felt hugely inspired recently catching up with our coach training alumni both in person and online recently - and a sense of belonging was a recurring theme our participants shared with us.

People shared how they felt lost, disconnected and weren't sure where they were heading. They also shared they felt they didn't have the connections they sought - particularly for many expats - but also for non expats too... until they decided to join a coach training programme that supported them to deep work for themselves with the support of others.

The Power of Loving Presence in Coaching: What It Is, Why It's Important, and How to Access It

Some schools of coach training, and therefore trained coaches can be focused only in the thinking space when working with their clients, which can be effective. But if coaches access a loving presence within themselves - a part that is incredibly deeply wise -  it can support their clients to access a much deeper conscious awareness of their internal wisdom and a powerful way forward.

FEEDBACK: The Most Empowering Personal Growth Tool You Have...

We all know feedback is important. It supports us to grow and learn, both as individuals and as professionals. But giving and receiving feedback can sometimes or even often, be difficult, especially if we're not sure how to do it effectively.

In this article, you'll discover how to take your feedback game to a whole new level. How to give and receive effective feedback and transform your personal life and professions lives and the lives of others.

The world is starving for leaders who are able to step into their true power to inspire and empower others to discover and live their highest potential.

Whether you’re a coach, a CEO, a parent… or whatever roles you have in your life… becoming a better leader will transform your abilities, your results and the influence you want to bring to the world.

You might be asking, how can I or anyone ensure I/they are going to be a positive role model and an effective leader?

Ethics and Diversity in Coaching

🌎 The Challenges and Opportunities for Coaches in a diverse world…
...and How We Can Make the World a Better Place ✅

The world is changing.

As topics like diversity and inclusion come to the forefront of society, as coaches, we are in a unique position to use our skills to make the world a better place.

In fact, the ICF (International Coaching Federation) recently took several concrete steps toward action against systemic inequality in the coaching industry (and in broader communities) and Published a Statement of Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Justice.

Masterful Coaching Series: How to Effectively Close a Coaching Session

In this article, you’ll discover some of the key techniques and models used by Masterful Coaches, to effectively close a coaching session: one of the most overlooked skills in the world of coaching.

One of the challenges is most coaches want to give, give, give. And while this is one of the most admirable qualities of coaches, it often leads to giving right until the last minute of the session. Always trying to do one more thing.

Beyond Words: Create-Deep Transformation Using Embodied Experiences Transcending Words

What is the difference between a good coach and a masterful one?

Masterful coaches support clients to create deep transformational change by allowing them to embody their experience and listen at a much deeper level for the wisdom within. A level which goes beyond words and chatter that's in their head and listening to the whole self: the body, energy, emotions, metaphors and intuition that arises.

Mental Health Month: How coaching can support mental health and wellness

Mental health was once a subject rarely spoken about, where sometimes people were locked away and kept out of sight, because family or community disowned or didn’t know how to support people who were suffering from some form of mental illness, leaving many living under a veil of darkness. But now, it's being brought more and more into the frontline and into the light.

The Coaching Principle That Separates Good Coaches From Great Coaches

In a moment, I’m going to share the transformational story about the above quote…

ut first, let’s discuss a somewhat counterintuitive principle (at least for many new coaches and maybe for some more experienced coaches too), and how making this as a foundation of your work has the ability to put you in the top echelons of coaches as you support clients to make life changing transformations.

A Heartfelt THANK YOU for Being Part of Our Journey So Far

We never planned on sharing this…

Marie and I were on our weekly zoom call preparing for our upcoming coach training... and we were just enjoying a few moments together pondering what to share on our next Empower World Coaching and Leadership Podcast.

The Power Of Intuition In Coaching

There has been much research into the power of intuition to support its relevance and importance in our everyday lives. Scientists, such as Albert Einstein recognise our intuition as our ‘gift’ and a necessary part of ourselves to listen to first and foremost to support growth and new discoveries.

The deep dive: Exploring Emotions and Suspending Assumptions

As a coach, do you wonder how are you able to be with strong emotions that arise within your clients during coaching conversations?

At Empower World, we believe being able to support clients to process and understand their emotions can enable them to create powerful awareness about their current situation and what can be done differently to achieve the results they want.

The art and power of re-framing perspectives about our beliefs!

One of the many artful skills of being a coach is supporting our client’s to shift their disempowering perspectives into more empowering ones!  There are always so many and varied ways of looking at things: different stories, beliefs and experiences we can choose to focus on and take on and embody into our system - our mind, body, heart and soul.

Reflective Practice: Who is the world calling you to be in 2021 and beyond?

As we end this year, a year like no other, we encourage you to give yourself the gift of reflection. And to kick start the process, we offer you some questions to support you to look back over the year, your practices, your client work who you have been during all of this.

Coaching Super-Vision - An Essential Practice for Coaches

As a coach you’ll probably be used to supporting those around you, family, friends and clients.  And in these very uncertain and difficult times you yourself may be feeling unsure, anxious and stressed about the future.

So how does a coach get the opportunity to work through these feelings during times of pressure?

Stop Rescuing And Start Empowering!

Understanding how to ‘own’ your role and step into your power as a coach can be a game changer in terms of building your confidence and your coaching practice. Many coaches face the challenge of differentiating between the role of a friend who is kind and supportive and that of a coach who challenges and stretches - particularly at the start of their careers.

Are You Leading Or Empowering?

Having a coaching conversation with the client to assist them as to what they want from the session doesn’t mean the coach takes over and takes charge with where they believe the session should go. Rather, it’s allowing the client the choice as to where they want to go and uncover what is important to them and giving them the opportunity to explore their own authentic ways forward.

Change Your Perspectives, Change Your Experiences

During this uncertain time of the Covid-19 pandemic, it can be beneficial to learn practices to support our mental well-being by focusing on what we can control rather than the things we cannot. And as we find ourselves being bombarded by information, facts and figures surrounding this health crisis; paying attention to this information encourages a perpetual state of fear for ourselves, as well as our friends and family.

Harnessing Your Resilience in times of Uncertainty

In these challenging times, it's important to understand ways in which we can harness our resilience to minimise the anxiety which often comes hand-in-hand with change, uncertainty and risk. By being able to navigate the unknown and potential losses in our lives, we are in better shape to look after ourselves, and therefore able to support others to do the same.

Moving From The Conscious Mind To Expanded Awareness

Supporting the people we work with to create new conscious awareness in the process of desired change is one of the key aspects of being a coach and a leader who coaches. And sometimes you may find the people you work with move from a deeper unconscious space where they are creating new perspectives and expanding their consciousness back into their ‘head space’, which may stop the deeper exploration.

When someone is in their head space or conscious mind during a coaching conversation, it can sometimes be challenging to support them to move back into the wiser parts of their heart, body and mind.

Overcoming Our Doubts And Inner Saboteur

No matter how successful you are in life there are always times when your inner doubts or the doubts of others stop you from taking action and moving towards your goals.  The inner saboteurs inside each of us will pop up and speak to us throughout our lives, and so when we listen to them, we begin to question ourselves, our accomplishments, skills and achievements.  Even the most powerful coach will have times where the small voice inside gains the upper hand, doubts creep in and there is some loss of confidence.

If you can identify with this, one of the keys to silencing your inner saboteurs is knowing your 'why': being really clear about who you are, what your values are, what your legacy is and what you are meant to be doing in this world.

Seven Steps to Setting Up Your Practice for Success!

One of the biggest challenges to anyone creating a new business or practice is creating a sustainable income: an income to support living requirements in the leaner periods of a start-up.

New coaches often begin offering free sessions to establish their name and competence in their quest to become known, trusted and sought after. This is key to sustainable success, which eventually allows a coach to charge more for their services in the long-term.

Grow Your Coaching Practice With A Mindset Of Abundance!

Are you working towards and trusting what you desire will transpire, such as a thriving practice, a balanced lifestyle or a healthy income? Do you remain generally optimistic, even when you’re experiencing challenge when striving to achieve your goals? And do you have an abundance or a scarcity mindset in relation to your personal and professional lives?

An abundance mindset means you are generally optimistic - even in the most challenging of times. There's a belief you will 'land on your feet', be more than OK, and be at peace with your circumstances.

Want To Work As A Coach In The Corporate World?

Do you have a desire to work in the corporate world? Perhaps as an executive, leadership or performance coach? To make a difference in a world that is perhaps often in a fearful, protective or an ineffective state, or alternatively, perhaps ready for positive change, more growth and expansion.
Establishing yourself as a coach in the corporate world means being able to share how you do or can create value through your work in organisations.

Using Metaphors to Enable the Unconscious to Become Conscious

The saying “Words Create Worlds” illustrates the importance of language choice in representing an individual’s opportunities or challenges they may be experiencing, whether it be at the conscious or subconscious level. And our role as a coach is to support clients to create greater conscious awareness of their current reality and open up new perspectives, and therefore more and new choices to move forward.

Empowering Coaching Clients With Challenging Questions

Do you find your coaching conversations are too comfortable for your client?
Are you getting a sense you’re not stretching your clients to create meaningful breakthroughs?
Do you notice you hold yourself back from asking challenging questions?

Our role as coaches is to stretch our clients to move out of their comfort zone in relation to their goals. Clients will often come to a coach because they don’t know how to reach a goal, or they know how to achieve the goal, but something is stopping them from accomplishing it.

Living Life Purposefully With Courage

What does vulnerability mean to you?

Do you associate it with fear, imperfection, criticism, loss or betrayal? Often those are those thoughts, emotions, habits come up when we allow ourself to vulnerable: to say something, do something or be someone visible to the world.

For far too long society has taught us vulnerability is weakness and something to be hidden from others. And as a consequence, too many of us erect barriers around us, afraid to take chances, to put ourselves out there for the world to see.

Life Rewards Action!

Do you over-plan your life and dreams?
Do you worry about failing even before you begin?
Do you lose so much time waiting for the perfect opportunity that you don’t really get started?

The truth is that in order to achieve your dreams you must step out of your comfort zone and take action. In the end, it is results that matter. As Dr. Phil McGraw said, “Life rewards action. Until your knowledge, awareness, insights and understandings are translated into action, they are of no value”.

Why Letting Go Of Perfectionism Is Key To Fulfillment

Many people view perfectionism as a strength. We are often conditioned to think we need to get things right without failure or errors - and then we will be worthy or appreciated or accepted by others for the value we create and deliver in the world.

But in reality, the pursuit of perfectionism could hold us back and get in the way of achieving what we truly want. Below are a number of reasons to support letting go of doing things 'perfectly.'

Balance Between Structure and Flow In a Coaching Conversation

As a new coach - or an even more seasoned coach - are you focusing on adhering closely to the structure of the coaching conversation? And by doing this, do you find you lose spontaneity or opportunities required for a powerful coaching conversation?

Or do you notice you are going 'off course' and perhaps not serving the client as powerfully as you could?

When we as coaches, or leaders who coach, focus on following the models we've been taught, we often lose out on being in the moment with our clients.

Coaching Principles for Living a Wholehearted Life

As coaches our work revolves around supporting our clients to live their best lives. And the tools and processes we use to do this can be just as easily applied to ourselves.

Coaching teaches us how to communicate with others and ourselves: how to create rapport, how to develop a mindset of non-judgmental curiosity, and how to challenge with courage and respect.

Supporting clients to come out of story into transformational learning!

As a coach do you find yourself and your client getting caught up in the details of their stories? Does this prevent you from achieving the breakthrough or transformation the client is seeking? Are you unsure - perhaps fearful - about how to stop your client when they are in the details of their story?

Allowing clients space to share and process what they are experiencing can be an important part of a coaching session if the client is sharing it for the first time.

Power of Coaching Supervision

Do you seek alternative ways to strengthen your skillset and who you are being as coach?
Have you ever experienced the power and benefits of coaching supervision?
Are you aware coaching supervision also provides certified coaches with CEU's (Continuing Education Units)?

Coaching supervision is gaining momentum in the industry and reported to be one of the best ways to support ourselves as coaches, our practice and our clients.

Creating New Personal Awareness

Have you ever noticed how your clients bring topics to coaching sessions which may be similar to what you are dealing with now or have dealt with in the past?

Great coaches create powerful partnerships with the people who choose to work with them. The masterful coach gets very present with their client to support them with their opportunities for empowering change.

Using Coaching Questions to Deepen Everyday Conversations

Are you aware how coaching can be used to enhance and enrich everyday conversations with your family, friends and co-workers?
Coaching questions can positively impact communication, enabling more powerful connections and interactions with people in our lives: family, friends, colleagues and so forth.

Allowing Space for Deep Listening

Have you ever thought as a coach about the truly deep power of silence and effective listening?

Listening deeply can be one of the most powerful skills we can demonstrate as a coach and a fellow human being. It can open the doors to self-reflection and discovery for the client or person we are with, enabling them to capture their thoughts, which the client or person we are in communication with may otherwise not have experienced.

Setting Goals for Success

Do you set goals for yourself and then find it hard to achieve them?
Are the goals you set attainable?
Or perhaps you have stopped setting goals effectively?

To grow and achieve what we want in life, we need a purpose and direction. Goals can give us both: a sense of motivation, and a path to follow to create success. In addition, a goal also provides us with a benchmark which supports us to determine if we are actually achieving what we want.

The Power of Investing in Yourself

Have you taken the step to invest in yourself? Investing in ourselves is one of the most valuable gifts we can give our selves as we are so powerful – and yet many of us often under utilize our potential.

Devoting time, effort and resources in our personal development can be the most profitable and fulfilling investment we will ever make.

Follow the Breadcrumbs of Your Life

Have you ever met someone who has always known what they wanted to do in life? The type of person that declared boldly at an early age, “I want to be a doctor.” Or “I want to be a firefighter.” Or maybe, “I want to become a singer!” And then you find them twenty, thirty or forty years down the road, as pediatricians in a private practice, or as a firefighter saving lives, or you see them performing, singing passionately on the stage.

Learning to Embrace Your Inner Critic and Let Your Light Shine

Have you ever had those negative thoughts pop up that stopped you in your tracks?

Have you held yourself back because you listened to that voice of fear or doubt?

We all have limiting beliefs and thoughts. The key is learning how to manage the way in which we listen to them.

Believing in Yourself and Following Where Your Passion Leads

Do you sometimes find it difficult to believe in yourself?

Do you ever doubt that you have something to give in your world or your life?
