Coaching at its core is a one-to-one facilitative process between a professional coach and client to achieve specific goals, outlined and led by the client. The process is driven by the client, whereby the coach provides structure, asking specific questions, identify habits and blind spots, providing supportive education and being an accountability partner for the client.

Coaching creates new consciousness using deep thought provoking questions, processes and methodologies. This greater or new awareness is potentially unknown to the client, or if it is known, the real impact and consequences of past behaviours and beliefs are created. This means clients can make better choices and can decide whether to enhance or replace these old ways of thinking, doing, being.

What Does Coaching Look Like?
Each coaching relationship and session are unique. People have diverse experiences, backgrounds, cultures and perspectives. The Life Coach works with where you are in the present moment and supports you to realize your goals.
Some common approaches include:
- Ask questions so clients consciously understand their deeper aspirations, goals and purpose,
- Allow clients to reflect deeply to discover their own way forward - which is good for them, and for others - by answering thought provoking questions,
- Ask 'stretching' questions - going beyond where clients have ever thought before - for the purpose of creating new awareness, goals, opportunities and pathways forward,
- Uncover client's limiting beliefs (the excuses we make to prevent us from living our best life) and expose many new opportunities the client can choose to create their own empowering way forward,
- Provide powerful feedback that supports clients to move to exactly where they want to be,
- Enable clients to take steps that will create the opportunity for experiencing what they desire, and
- Challenge clients to live their very best life.
The process of coaching ensures responsibility for identifying the way forward, making decisions, taking specific actions and creating outcomes is ultimately in the hands of the client, which also is the key for successful change.
